2008 In Shoes

When I read the amazing post about the 50 Best Dresses Of The Year 2008 at lovely Coco's Teaparty's blog, I got some inspiration and started to think about this years best...shoes! PS. Isn't this a rare sight? Ashley Olsen, shopping in sneakers? Maybe her feet hurts after all her high heels this year or maybe she's just running around to get the perfect Christsmas gifts with happy feet. In 2009 we'll see if she has switched her Louboutins to Nikes.

We were all very excited about the new SATC movie and we also know that Carrie has a lot of beautiful Manolos and Louboutins. We got more excited when we saw her running around in Dior Extreme Gladiator shoes.

This has to be the last time I post something about these Rodarte shoes, but they are just perfect! I'd love to have them under my Christmas tree this year but I'm pretty sure that they'll never get the chance to visit someone in La Suede. (Maybe just if someone has been really kind this year.. No!) Victoria Beckham is a lucky girl. I bet Santa loves her more than us. Gah.

These YSL heels are so classic and hot. We've seen them on many celebrities already and more to come. Didn't Spencer Pratt give Heidi these YSL booties on her Birthday?

Princess Rihanna looks fierce in her short hair and as if that isn't enough, she got herself some Balenciagas!

Louboutin, Louboutin, Louboutin and more Louboutins! There can't be any celebrity out there right now who doesn't own a pair of Louboutins.

Green Dream

I must admit that the feather dress (or what it now is) isn't the best dress at this Gucci event/UNICEF Benefit, but the colour. Need a green dress now! It looks so good with red lips and pale skin. All these three women look fantastico and I do envy Rihanna when she pulls off that short hair so well.

Update:
Is it feathers in her dress? The thing is that we always talk about how bad fur is (yes it is) but never about the birds where most of the feathers come from. A lot of feathers are taken during slaughter of the birds but they even take the feathers from the birds when they are alive and we can just imagine how that hurts. I haven't found so much information about the feather-fashion-industry, but maybe it's time to think about this more, the same as we think about the fur industry?
